What’s this? A bible study site with costs?Yes, unfortunately not everything comes free even in the Christian circles. In order to maintain the high quality of content which Orthotomeo.co.za provides, we have expenses to pay. The prices though are really nothing to hold you back from studying at Orthotomeo.co.za.
User Levels
There are three levels of user at Orthotomeo.co.za, these are, Open, Free, and Paid. An Open user is simply a user who comes to the site, reads what is available to see and then moves on. The Free User is actually a member of the site and has a username and password. Membership to Orthotomeo.co.za is free and you can register here if you would like to.
The last type of membership is slightly more complex. As a free member you have access to all content which requires you to sign-in, however some content will require payment of certain fees which will allow you to access that content.
What are the costs?
Each post which has paid for content will cost $0.50.
If the post is part of a series then you will only be able to purchase the entire series at a time. Series prices are generally $2.00 and will consist of approxiamately 5 posts.
Purchasing a post or a series will give you ownership of that post or series forever (even if I am still adding content to that series, you will have access to read those posts forever as well)
An alternate method of using Orthotomeo.co.za is to purchase a monthly subscription. This will cost $5.00 and will give you access to the entire site. This subscription however will expire every 30 days and paypal will automatically bill you for the new month. This is by far the most cost effective way of using Orthotomeo.co.za.
Please remember that should you decide to cancel a subscription your site access will immediately be revoked regardless of how many days are left in your 30 day cycle. On cancellation you will still be allowed access to specific posts which you have purchased seperately prior to your subscription.
Please remember that depending on the value of the content that is being provided, individual post or series prices may differ to the default prices above. Differences will be clearly marked on the post itself.
How do I identify the different posts?
Open posts will have no indication on them. Free posts will have an open lock icon (
) and Paid posts will have a closed lock icon (
). Some posts may have a mixture of content, in this case there will be an indication at the relevant section using the icons shown above.
You will also see the word >>>LOCKED<<< when you encounter content which you are not eligible to access. This word will be followed by an explanation of the reason that the content is locked as well as relevant pricing information.
